The Klover DUAL wood-pellet stove is of the hydro type: it heats the water and being connected to the heating system of the house , it is able to give heat to the whole house but can also be connected to the tap system for provide domestic hot water.
The technology of the DUAL wood-pellet stove is unique. It has two separate and independent combustion chambers that can be used individually or simultaneously. The first, on the left, is powered by pellets and has an automatic operation, the thermal output is 16.1 Kw (11.2 transferred to the water and 4.8 to the environment where it is installed); the second, on the right, is powered by wood and has a manual operation, the thermal output is 11.3 Kw (6.5 transferred to the water and 4.8 to the environment where it is installed). In contemporary use, the thermal thermal output is 27.4 Kw total (17.7 transferred to the water and 9.6 to the environment where it is installed). It is exactly like having two stoves in one where the operation can be managed manually or automatically. The pellet side is equipped with a 30 kg capacity tank. During operation, the pellet side is automatic and the automatic ignition and shutdown functions can also be set, as in a normal pellet stove; on the wood side, on the other hand, some parameters can be configured exactly as in a modern wood-burning stove. During simultaneous use, if the wood side is able to autonomously maintain the temperature of the system, it automatically excludes the pellet side which will be required to operate again only in case of need.
It is part of the range of products that use the Safe top system which allows it to be installed even in an existing system with a boiler that is normally equipped with a closed expansion tank; using the "bain-marie" principle, without the need to use external exchangers or an open vessel, the Safe top system guarantees total safety in all conditions of use, the pressure in the boiler body is zero and there is no risk of boiling of the water even in the absence of electricity, the condensation phenomena are canceled. There are two stainless steel exchangers : the primary one for the heating circuit is managed by the circulator while the secondary one for the domestic hot water circuit is directly connected to the domestic hot water circuit; they are of the extractable type and can be easily replaced in case of need. The doors have a highly resistant double ceramic glass up to a temperature of 850 ° C. and " cold handles " for added safety. The combustion chamber is equipped with hermetically sealed gaskets which, guaranteeing absolute insulation, allow a particularly efficient combustion and offer the maximum possible safety. Maximum insulation has also been achieved in the brazier and in its gasket so that the deposits of pellet residues are a much less frequent phenomenon. Wiring harnesses covered in wear and cut resistant glass fiber have a particular resistance to high temperatures: practically eternal. The DUAL is equipped with integrated safety sensors that offer constant control over the entire system. The pellet loading system is treated with a total chrome plating and in all its parts so as to always be protected from any humidity present in the fuel. Ignition is achieved by means of a quartz glow plug six times faster than normal glow plugs, so the duration of this delicate component and electrical consumption are also optimized. The optimization of electricity consumption is also supported by the high efficiency electronic circulator .
The control possibilities are manifold. The Klover DUAL wood and pellet stove is already equipped with an automatic weekly chronothermostat with touch display that allows you to set up to four daily operating periods, even different for each day of the week. The stove even offers the possibility of being remotely controlled via a WI-FI system using a WI-FI module (optional) and an app to download on a smartphone or tablet.
