FAR 1 M anti-condensation valve, setting 60 ° C for solid fuel heat generators
Cod. 3966 0260
The anti-condensation valve is a mandatory accessory in solid fuel boilers (such as pellet boilers) as it avoids the return of cold water to the boiler and the consequent formation of condensate which damages the heat exchanger; therefore it extends the life of the boiler. Operation is as simple as it is effective: the valve's thermostatic sensor detects the water temperature and, depending on the required value (60 ° C in this case), diverts its path by opening or closing the by-pass through a shutter.
The FAR anti-condensation valve can also be installed as a diverter valve , in order to regulate the passage of water between the boiler and the system, according to the setting temperature.
On the FAR anti-condensation valve there is a symbol of a flame that identifies the side of the valve on which to connect the heat generator. If used as anti-condensation, the valve must be installed on the return circuit; instead used as a diverter valve, it must be installed on the delivery. In any case, the valve must be positioned between three shut-off valves so that it can be isolated for maintenance.
Maintenance of this valve is quick and easy.
The setting of the FAR anti-condensation valve can also be changed by replacing the thermostatic bulb with one of a different setting (codes 9400 with the FAR brand).
