MUT TMO 3-way motorized ball valve Ø1/2 M/M/M 230V with relay
The MUT TMO 3-way motorized ball valve is designed to control the flow of hot and cold water in domestic applications and small heating and cooling systems.
The particular 3-way configuration allows the valve to be used both as a diverter , with inlet from port AB and outlet from port A or B, and as a mixing valve , with inlet from ports A and B and outlet from port AB. The flow of fluid is managed by a ball valve electrically operated by the servomotor.
When the servomotor is powered, movement is transmitted to the shaft integral with the ball which, through the holes inside it, allows the flow to be diverted from one port to the other . Port AB always remains open during valve operation.
The motorized head can be removed without affecting the hydraulic system , making control and maintenance operations simpler and quicker.
The MUT TMO 7.030.01864 , model TMO 15-MMM SPST M1S , features 3 G 1/2 male threaded connections , 230V power supply and SPST actuation with built-in relay . The product is supplied with a 1 metre long 6-pole Molex Mini-Fit JR cable and is equipped with an auxiliary microswitch .
The valve body and ball are made of brass , while the sealing rings are made of PTFE and the O-rings are made of EPDM Perox . The valve can be used with water and glycol solutions , with a maximum glycol percentage of 50% .
The nominal pressure is PN10 , with a maximum operating differential pressure of 250 kPa (2.5 bar) . The flow coefficient Kvs is 5 m³/h , while the fluid temperature range is between 2 and 90°C .
The servomotor has a maximum absorbed power of 7 W , protection degree IP40 and insulation class II . The operating time for this configuration is 6 seconds .
Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by expert and qualified technical personnel , following the instructions contained in the official MUT technical documentation.
