Unlike fixed air conditioners made up of two units and portable air conditioners which are often uncomfortable and bulky, UNICO is the middle solution that combines the efficiency of the former and the versatility of the latter! It is an air conditioner that has all the requirements of the best air conditioners on the market, but which in addition brings the great advantage of being able to overcome any architectural limitations present in many homes (especially in historic buildings) by virtue of the absence of the external unit , replaced by two simple holes from which only two air grills will be visible from the outside. In essence UNICO is the evolution of heat pump air conditioners and is truly one of a kind!
DESIGN AND AIR QUALITY
The design of this air conditioner is innovative and SLIM ! Extremely thin with its 21.5 cm thickness, it presents itself as a refined and non-invasive design element, easy to insert into environments of any style. Total flat monoblock body , with rationalized and optimized internal layout to also facilitate any maintenance. It features a backlit display with touch controls on the machine and a large flap (the oscillation of which can be set via remote control, blocking the deflector in the desired position) for a homogeneous diffusion of air in the environment. Designed by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, it stands out for its essential and original lines, awarded by numerous international competitions.
The quality of the air is guaranteed by the multi-filtering system which includes the electrostatic filter (with anti-dust function) and the activated carbon filter (with anti-odor function). The filters are easy to remove and insert to facilitate ordinary cleaning and maintenance operations.

The Olimpia Splendid Unico Pro air conditioner is a heat pump air conditioner without an external unit with a max power of 3.4 kW, also ideal for larger environments, and capable of energy performance up to class A+ in cooling and A in heating . Equipped with the latest generation compressor and electronics that work in sync to ensure excellent performance and acoustic comfort in all conditions of use. In fact, at low frequencies, Unico is the quietest range of air conditioners ever and with the Silent Mode function active, it reaches a maximum of 34 dB(A) of sound pressure even with the compressor running, a truly incredible result! It also takes into account environmental protection through the use of R32 refrigerant gas with low environmental impact.
It presents a series of functions designed to maximize user comfort: Cooling/Heating/Dehumidification and Ventilation for every seasonal need; Economy function which allows energy saving and at the same time automatically optimizes the machine's performance; Auto function which modulates the operating parameters in relation to the ambient temperature; 24H timer that allows you to set two different on and off timers from the remote control or weekly timer from the APP; further modes and/or parameters can be viewed in the user manual supplied with the product.
Furthermore, the Olimpia Splendid Unico Evo air conditioner includes: on/off contact for enabling or energy boost ; an RS485 port designed to control the air conditioner with external BMS in Modbus RTU language; in this HP version (heat pump) condensation drainage is mandatory , however it is possible to configure the machine, during installation, in the COLD ONLY version by deactivating the heating function; if necessary, it is also possible to configure the machine in HEAT ONLY, deactivating the function cooling.
It can be managed via on-board controls or the full digital remote control supplied as standard , but also via integrated WiFi by conveniently downloading the OS Home app available on Google Play and App Store onto your smartphone.
The installation must be carried out by expert and authorized technical personnel .
