MUT SPACEMUT 50 L space-saving inertial storage tank with 4 Ø1 1/4 connections
The MUT SPACEMUT inertial storage tank is designed for use in hybrid and heat pump systems , where it performs the function of accumulating technical water and helping to make the generator operate more regularly.
The presence of the storage tank allows you to limit the heat pump's frequent on-off cycles , encouraging it to operate at a more constant load and thus helping to optimize its performance and reduce the conditions that can cause premature wear. During the winter, the storage tank also helps speed up the heat pump's defrosting cycles.
The 4-port configuration allows SPACEMUT to also be used as a hydraulic separator between the generator and the system's distribution groups. Thanks to its compact design, the device is particularly suitable for installations where available space is limited.
The MUT SPACEMUT 7.030.03241 , model SPACEMUT 50/4 , has a capacity of 50 litres , has 4 female G 1 1/4 connections according to ISO 228/1 and is made of pickled and painted S235JR steel . The empty weight is 23 kg .
The product is supplied complete with support brackets for wall mounting , automatic air vent valve and system loading/unloading tap , both with G 3/4 connection. The tank is not internally glazed, as it is intended exclusively for the storage of technical water in a closed circuit .
SPACEMUT can be used with water and glycol solutions , with a maximum glycol percentage of 50% . The maximum operating pressure is 6 bar , while the fluid temperature range is between 0 and 100°C .
The insulation is made of 15 mm thick closed-cell expanded PE-X , designed to limit heat loss from the storage tank. The operating temperature range is between -40 and 130°C .
Installation must be carried out by expert and qualified technical personnel , respecting the diagrams and instructions reported in the MUT technical documentation.
