The Grohe Blue Pure water purifier is a system consisting of a sink mixer and a filtration kit which, installed together, allow you to obtain filtered, fresh and tasty drinking water directly from the tap at home. A revolution in many respects:

THE OPERATION
The Grohe Blue Pure water purifier filters the water by passing it through an activated carbon filter cartridge to be connected to the mixer (under the sink): the filter purifies the water by eliminating chlorine and other substances that can alter its smell and flavor such as biocides, pesticides, insecticides. The Grohe activated carbon filter is approved by the major international water quality certifcation bodies such as ACS, TUV, NSF, etc. The filter is in the size of 3000 liters or 12 months of use. However, other types and sizes of filters are available, all compatible with the kit proposed here.
The starter kit for water filtration is completed with the 1/2 head for connecting the filter to the mixer and with a timer for changing the filter that can be set at different intervals of days. For the activated carbon filter included in the kit, the duration must be set to 365 days. The timer will warn you with several beeps when it is time to change the filter. The filter head, on the other hand, should be replaced every 5 years.
Thanks to its compact size , the filter can be installed in a few steps under the sink and to replace it, just unscrew the old bottle and screw on the new one.
THE DESIGN

The Grohe Blue Pure purifier is proposed here with the mixer from the BauCurve line, with a C-shaped brass spout with a StarLight chrome finish and a 28 mm ceramic cartridge with SilkMove technology. In the mixer, the single lever controls the supply of running water, while the practical ergonomic knob on the opposite side is responsible for the supply of filtered water.
