THE OPERATION
The heart of the Grohe Blue Home water purifier is the cooler that hides the filter and the CO2 cylinder to carbonate the water inside. Through the passage of water from the special 5-phase filter , the same is filtered and purified from chlorine and other substances that can alter its smell and taste such as biocides, pesticides, insecticides. The filter, in the 600-litre size S, is approved by the major international water quality certifcation bodies such as ACS, TUV, NSF, etc. Other types and sizes of Grohe Blue filters are available, all compatible with the kit proposed here.
Going up the special 5-phase filter, the water is:
1. Filtered from grainy impurities
2. Improved in taste via an activated carbon pre-filter
3. Cleaned of heavy metals and calibrated in limescale via a high-performance ion exchanger
4. Further purified by a second activated carbon filter
5. Purified of residual fine particles.
Only the good of essential minerals remains and all the taste of a nice glass of fresh water!
Next to the filter, the CO2 cylinder to obtain sparkling or slightly sparkling water. Filter and CO2 cylinder screw and unscrew easily in their housings inside the Grohe Blue Home fridge.
The fridge , which can cool the water to a temperature between 5 and 10°C , is a very elegant and compact device which can be easily placed under the sink (a space of about thirty cm is enough) or, failing that, it can be installed up to 4 meters away from the mixer using an extension. The only requirements for installation are two holes to be drilled on the worktop under the sink as an air intake and hot air outlet.
The Grohe Blue Home water purifier can also be managed remotely using the special Ghrohe Ondus App : equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, Grohe Blue Home connects to the internet and by downloading the App on your smartphone you can monitor consumption, know when the filter and CO2 cylinder need to be replaced, order spare parts, pour the water. THE DESIGN
All the advantages offered by the Grohe Blue Home purifier are combined with the beauty of having in your kitchen the quality and design that only Grohe taps can offer. The Grohe Blue Home purifier is proposed here with the single-lever mixer with L-shaped brass spout with StarLight chrome finish and 28 mm ceramic cartridge with SilkMove technology. In the mixer, the single-lever controls the supply of running water, while the knob with the LED buttons on the opposite side is responsible for the supply of filtered water. Depending on the function, the LED will light up in a different colour : blue when dispensing still water, green for sparkling, turquoise if slightly sparkling, flashing orange if the filter needs to be replaced and flashing white if the CO2 cylinder needs to be replaced. Finally, the fridge, with its curved shapes and white and silver chassis that encloses the brain of Grohe Blue Home... ingenuity and design united in this object to embellish even the most sophisticated kitchen!
WARRANTY
The guarantee is the official Grohe one and has a duration of 2 years . In Italy, by registering the product on the Grohe website, the warranty can be extended by a further 12 months for a total of 3 years.
