The Omnia M 3.2 heat pump is the new Ferroli gem that perfectly satisfies any need for winter and summer air conditioning and also for the production of domestic hot water. Designed to help users in the ordinary management of the product in a simple and intuitive way, making it easy to constantly monitor the settings and their energy expenditure.
This 8.4 kW heat pump is monobloc , single-phase , equipped with Inverter technology and environmentally friendly by virtue of the use of R32 gas with low environmental impact; capable of excellent performance, it reaches energy class A++ for the production of water at 55ºC and A+++ for water produced at 35°C, taking air from the outside and using it as the sole source of energy for the production of heat, avoids the use of any type of fuel, requiring only a minimum energy contribution.
The unit is characterized by the use of a DC inverter compressor which allows the power supplied to be modulated and is complete with a hydronic kit consisting of all the essential components for quick and safe external installation.
TECHNOLOGY, COMFORT AND SAVINGS
The Ferroli Omnia M 3.2 heat pump works at high efficiency, and being able to produce water up to 60°C it can be easily combined with low temperature systems (fan coils, radiators, underfloor heating) and used for the indirect production of domestic hot water (DHW) via any external boiler to be purchased separately ; the units are also characterized not only by their high energy efficiency but also by their low sound levels which allow them to be used as a single generator serving the system or integrated with other energy sources such as electric support resistors or boilers. Equipped as standard with the boiler water temperature probe and the external air temperature probe for climate regulation in both heating and cooling.
Both circuits, refrigerator and hydraulic , are contained inside the unit to facilitate maintenance operations. The first circuit features a Twin rotary compressor with DC Inverter motor which ensures vibration reduction and greater dynamic balance, in addition to completion there is the brazed stainless steel PLATE EXCHANGER complete with antifreeze heater and the axial FANS with DC brushless motor complete with grilles of accident prevention protection. The second circuit is equipped with a low consumption CIRCULATOR with brushless DC motor, water flow switch, automatic air vent, water pressure gauge, expansion vessel, safety valve and Y-shaped water filter . The unit is equipped with variable speed control of the fans which allows seasonal adaptation in harsh climatic conditions and the hydraulic pipes are also thermally insulated to avoid the formation of condensation and heat loss.
There are many functions that can be set on the Ferroli Omnia M 3.2 heat pump, so innovative and practical as to make this product among the most functional and multitasking. For example, HEATING/COOLING works by modulating the compressor frequency to maintain the produced water temperature at the set setpoint value; FAST DHW, which can be activated manually, which allows you to give priority to the DHW by bringing the DHW tank to the set setpoint in the shortest possible time; ANTI-LEGIONELLA FUNCTION settable on weekly cycles, in this case integration with DHW boiler or boiler electric resistance is required; SILENT MODE (2 levels) which reduces both the noise of the machine and the energy consumption in settable time slots (for example night time); ON/OFF , in this case the unit can be activated and deactivated via an external contact and managed via controller; HOT/COLD involves activation or deactivation in cold mode and hot mode via 2 external contacts (e.g. zone thermostat that manages the heat and cold request / remote switch); ECO gives the possibility of defining hot and cold time bands and the relative set point for ECO modes; ANTI-FREEZE PROTECTION guaranteed down to an external air temperature of -20°C thanks to the heat pump itself operating in hot mode, the anti-freeze electric resistance (standard) and the electric booster (if installed).
Furthermore: it is possible to manage a possible integration and/or reserve electric resistance and for the anti-legionella function; the unit activates in hot mode to maintain the temperature of a DHW tank at the set set point value, a 3-way diverter valve (not supplied) and a temperature probe (probe supplied) are required to be inserted in a well of the DHW boiler; 2 digital inputs on the PCB with specific operating logics allow you to manage the photovoltaic system and an input from the electricity grid (SMART GRID "intelligent network" function) and also MANAGE UP TO 2 ZONES (1 MIXED AND 1 DIRECT), because the unit is capable of managing the pumps (not supplied) of both zones, while for the mixed zone only, the mixing valve (not supplied) and the water delivery temperature probe (available as an accessory). MODULARITY AND FLEXIBILITY OF INSTALLATION
The Ferroli Omnia M 3.2 heat pump, being a monobloc unit, has significantly reduced costs and installation times and furthermore the device includes all the hydraulic elements necessary for a correct and rapid connection to the system and to the DHW.
The unit involves the use of additional energy sources such as a boiler or electric resistance which can be activated to replace or integrate the heat pump when the system serves the heating system or for the production of domestic hot water; the additional operation is intelligent so the sources will be activated automatically in the event of failure of the heat pump.
Cascade management of up to 6 units (of which 1 Master and 5 Slaves, even with different powers) has also been foreseen and made possible via a single controller connected to the Master unit and with constant cascade operation even in the event of an anomaly. of a Slave unit.
The Ferroli Omnia M 3.2 heat pump can be managed via wired/wired control (supplied) and via the App available for both iOS and Android.
