Danfoss B3-014-40 heat exchanger
The Danfoss B3-014-40 is a brazed plate heat exchanger designed for the efficient transfer of thermal energy between two separate hydraulic circuits. Compact, reliable, and high-performance, it is used in heating systems, domestic hot water production, and HVAC applications where hydraulic separation of circuits is required while maintaining high thermal efficiency.
The model is equipped with 40 AISI 316L stainless steel plates with copper brazing and is designed to work with VDI 2035-compliant water and glycol mixtures up to 50%. Thanks to its compact structure and plate technology, it guarantees high heat exchange capacity with small dimensions.
The exchanger has 2+2 G ¾” – 12 mm hydraulic connections and is suitable for applications with power up to 40 kW , with primary and secondary flow rates of 1740 l/h . The nominal operating pressure reaches 30 bar , while the operating temperature range goes from -196°C to +200°C , making it suitable even for particularly demanding technical applications.
