The Clivet AQUA Plus SWAN-2 heat pump for domestic hot water is an air-water heat pump water heater with an absolutely innovative operating principle which allows the heat pump to subtract the heat already present in the air for transfer it to sanitary water thanks to the thermodynamic cycle. Electricity consumption is reduced to a minimum . The aesthetic aspect of the heat pump is very pleasant because the line is modern and integrates well into any environment. AQUA Plus SWAN-2 is 4 times more efficient than a traditional electric boiler, which translated into economic terms means a 75% reduction in electrical costs for the same thermal energy supplied.

The AQUA Plus SWAN-2 water heater achieves the highest levels of efficiency currently on the market. The innovative active electronic anode and the enamelled steel tank guarantee a high degree of protection against corrosion. The exchanger (condenser) is made up of an aluminum coil wrapped externally to the domestic hot water storage tank. This guarantees maximum safety , avoiding any contamination between the refrigerant and sanitary water. Before being wrapped around the storage tank, the copper condenser is processed to obtain an innovative profile designed to maximize the contact area with the tank and improve heat exchange.
The use of the most advanced technologies, both in terms of components and in relation to the regulation logics, make it possible to use AQUA Plus with extreme temperatures . The AQUA Plus SWAN-2 heat pump water heater can work in an air temperature range from -20 ° C to + 43 ° C in combined operation (heat pump + electrical resistance) and even from -7 ° C to + 43 ° C in heat pump only. It is also possible to reach sanitary water temperatures above 65 ° C thanks to the use of the heat pump alone.
INTERFACE AND OPTIONAL SMART SYSTEM
The control panel mounted on the unit can be used to control AQUA Plus SWAN-2. The control has been designed to be quick and intuitive to the user, all parameters are easily accessible thanks to the 9 central keys. The control allows you to view:
- the instantaneous water temperature
- the operating status of the unit
- the operating status of the compressor and electric heater
- the possible presence of anomalies
- the storage SET temperature
- scheduling the unit up to six activation or shutdown times
- manual activation of the electric heater
- manual activation of the anti-legionella disinfection cycle
- turning the unit on and off.
AQUA Plus SWAN-2 is equipped with a port for the Modbus connection , which allows integration with third-party home automation systems. The unit is also compatible with ELFOControl3 EVO , the Clivet supervision system that optimizes the operation of residential systems. AQUA Plus SWAN-2 is also prepared for Smart Grid management.
