The Calpeda NGLM 2/80/A self-priming pump is a monobloc electric pump with a built-in ejector, which exponentially and clearly increases its suction capacity, with unparalleled performances for a product of the same type.
Cast iron pump body and quality components, this electric pump is characterized by some truly peculiar technical details, which confer advantages in terms of results, reliability and safety. As regards the general technical characteristics, the Calpeda NGLM 2/80/A self-priming pump is equipped with a 2-pole induction motor , 50 Hz, efficiency class IE2 ; single-phase power supply 230 V ± 10%, with thermoprotector and capacitor inserted in the terminal box; class F insulation and IP 54 protection. Some precautions are then fundamental in order to guarantee correct use of the pump: liquid temperature from 0 °C to +35 °C, ambient temperature up to 40 °C and maximum pressure allowed in the pump body of 8 bar, designed to provide continuous service.
Designed for various uses , such as: for the supply of water with suction from wells, for lifting water in which there may be the presence of air or other gaseous substances, for increasing the pressure of the water that arrives spontaneously under the head of the pump , to increase the pressure available from a distribution network (observe local regulations) and finally commonly for gardening and for washing with a water jet.
This self-priming monobloc electric pump must be installed with the rotor axis horizontal and support feet at the bottom. It is advisable to install the pump as close as possible to the suction source, providing adequate space for ventilation of the motor and for filling and emptying the pump. In any case, the installation must be carried out by expert technical personnel and before starting it is advisable to consult the instruction manual which contains the necessary information regarding the installation methods and other further specifications relating to the operating characteristics and programming.
