BluDrop Medium ion exchange GEL water softener, 20 litres

Ion exchange water softeners are designed to reduce water hardness, which is primarily caused by the presence of calcium and magnesium salts. Over time, high levels of hardness can promote the formation of limescale and scale inside pipes, boilers, water heaters, and appliances, compromising their efficiency and longevity.
The BluDrop Medium 109.789.70 GEL softener is a compact solution for treating water in domestic systems. The system uses 20 liters of resin and has a cyclic capacity of 100 m³×°f , allowing you to reduce water hardness before distributing it throughout the system.
The model has a 3/4 M connection and reaches a peak flow rate of 32 l/min , making it suitable for the typical needs of residential users. The permissible operating pressure is between 1.5 and 5 bar .
During normal operation, the resins must be periodically regenerated with saline solution. The BluDrop Medium has an average salt consumption of 1.7 kg per regeneration and an average water consumption of approximately 60 litres per cycle , with a regeneration duration of approximately 67 minutes . The salt compartment has a capacity of 41 litres .
The softener can operate with water temperatures between 5 and 30°C , while the installation ambient temperature must be between 5 and 50°C . Its compact size allows it to be installed even in limited technical rooms.
Installation must be carried out by qualified technical personnel , in compliance with the instructions provided by GEL and the characteristics of the water system on which it is installed.
